Billie Alban was President of Alban & Williams, Ltd., and a pioneering leader in the field of Organization Development. Known internationally for her work with organizations such as British Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways, Exxon, Corning, Intel, Kraft/General Foods, and the UK National Health Service, Alban helped shape the modern practice of large-scale, inclusive change.
A longtime member of the National Training Laboratory (NTL), she was among the first to champion stakeholder inclusion as a moral and practical imperative for organizational transformation. Her mantra—to “include all stakeholders”—guided a lifetime of consulting, teaching, and writing. She co-authored numerous influential works, including Creating the Future Together, and her methods for large-group interventions remain foundational in the OD field.
